Week 4- St. Louis Cathedral, New Orleans by Cooper Tate

The St. Louis Cathedral situated at the heart of Jackson Square in New Orleans was built in 1789. There has been a church on the site since 1718. I took this picture while I was in NOLA for the Sugar Bowl earlier this year. This Cathedral is very close to the debauchery that takes place deep in the French Quarter on everyone's favorite street. Bourbon Street. It's a very beautiful building and a subtle guilt trip when you take a stroll inside and see the magnificent interior while nursing a hangover.
