I went Newschwanstein Castle when I was very young on a trip to Germany to visit some relatives. I don't remember a great deal about the castle but I do remember that it was HUGE and it was incredibly ornate. It is positioned in the Bavarian Alps and is truly a mysterious and magical place, so magical it is said that this is what lead Walt Disney to create the magic kingdom. I would very much like to visit this place again to I can fully appreciate its beauty.
