Daniel Gutmann - Tipi

The Tipi (Teepee). So simple in its architectural design, yet so useful to so many nomadic people. These nomadic people who roamed the Great Plains of North America used these tipis are temporary housing. They were traditionally made of animal skins and furs, held up by wooden poles. They provided warmth in the winter but were also breezy and cool during the summer. It's amazing to think how far civilization has come in only a matter of a couple hundreds years. This brings up the perspective of what the future has in store for architecture. Where will we be in a couple hundred years?
