The ancient ice igloo has been a shelter and home for centuries for people living in harsh conditions. Ive always been amazed at how the igloo actually works and how efficient it can be even in some of the coldest conditions. The structure is purely made from the snow on the ground and maybe a few other materials, but keeps out the cold even though it is made from snow. One day I would like to see how well they actually work and build one in Alaska.
