#7 - Auby Chase Brown - Texas State Capital

The Texas State Capital is an amazingly well thought out building. Centered in the state capital, Austin Texas, the building sits in the middle of the well known city. Its front doors can be seen from miles away, down a 3 mile long, completely flat, and totally straight street that runs straight through downtown. There are massive pillars that mimic the old Roman buildings and very nicely designed stonework throughout the structure. The museum inside is actually interesting too! It's hard to find a museum that I enjoy. The whole building is riddled with Texas pride, with the Lone Star being found all over the place, as well as the word TEXAS in the original font written on everything. It makes me prideful of the state and I absolutely love the gorgeous design!
