The Shard was one building I found to be very interesting in design while on my Spring Break trip to London. The Shard also known as the Shard of Glass is the tallest building in the European Union and the second tallest in the United Kingdom. This building is currently 87 stories high and is definitely a nice view while I saw it from a tourist boat on the river. The building itself only took three years to build which is actually really impressive I think compared to many buildings built here in the US today.
