The Luxor in Las Vegas, NV was the first place I stayed when I went to Vegas at the age of 13. The trip was with my entire family and it was really a unique experience. During my time there we visited a lot of different shows and walked around the different hotels on the strip. The Luxor itself was named after the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes. The design captured the beauty of the pyramid, a sphinx, and an obelisk. Overall, the grounds did a great job at showing some of the great architecture in ancient Egypt.
