James Curtin - National Cathedral, Washington, DC - Post 6

The National Cathedral, or Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the City and Diocese of Washington, is a 14th century style English Gothic cathedral. built of limestone over a traditional mason  core, with minimal structural steel (replacing wooden timbers). I visited the cathedral in the late on a 6th grade field trip. The intricate stone carvings and stained glass made a huge impression on me.
