Nielsen
hall was built in 1946. It was renamed after Jens Rud Nielsen (1894-1979) after
his retirement in 1965. The building houses the Department of Physics and
Astronomy at the University of Oklahoma. I haven’t taken several classes in
this building but each time I step into the building I think of Physics. It
reminds me of Physics because my Physics Professor is one of my favorite
Professors I’ve had in OU. My favorite part of the building is the Foucault
pendulum.
