Seth Thomas - ARCH 3013 - Blog #11

The Community Bookshelf, located in Kansas City, US, is widely known as one of the most “Unique Buildings in the World.” Running along the south wall of the Central Library’s parking garage, the building is designed to resemble the book spines of 22 different titles measuring 25ft by 9ft.

A library building designed to look like huge bookshelf filled with awesome books, thats as awesome as it gets. This building makes me want to grab a book to read. A building designed to promote education and went above and beyond. They nailed it.
