I grew up in Norman, but regretfully I didn't spend much time exploring our campus in my youth. Upon my return from the Army and travelling throughout Europe and Southwest Asia I have found the urban sprawl/suburban way of life monotonous. However, the architecture of our campus really does transport me to another place. I often pity the younger students that walk around with their faces buried in their phones instead of taking in the beauty of our campus.
