The BOK Tower in Tulsa has a very odd effect on me even now. My mom worked in the building when I was extremely young and one of my earliest memories is having that building pointed out to me as "The place where your mom works". Being that young I didn't like when my mom worked so that building became a symbol for my mom having to be gone so often. To me it seemed incredibly tall and boring, and so I hated it. Now that I'm much older I don't feel so strongly towards it but first impressions last a long time. The building was built in 1975 and was designed by Minoru Yamasaki.
