#7-Brandon Mansur-Collings Castle

Ellsworth Collings was the dean of the school of education at the University of Oklahoma. He build this castle in the 20's and 30's as a summer cabin for him and his family at Turner Falls. It is a very interesting building with 3 bed rooms, 2 living rooms, 2 out houses, and I think a guest residence. Everything was done by hand and the rocks used in the construction were mined near by. It is a very interesting place with a lot of interesting local history.  I really wish the town of Davis would allocate some money to fix it up. Due to the weather and vandals it is in need of a lot of work. However, it is still a pretty neat place to visit.
