Madhuri Patel #12 - CN Tower

For my last blog I decided to do the CN Tower. In 2004 I took a family trip to Toronto, Canada and I got to visit the CN Tower. The tower is huge. It is 1,815 feet tall. The construction for the tower began in 1973 and in 40 months it was complete in 1976. On the top of the CN tower they have a 360 rotating restuarant where you can go eat and it has glass floors so you can see the bottom. I remember taking the elevator and seeing all of Toronto from that height and when we stepped on the glass floor it felt like we were going to fall, but it was sturdy to handle a lot of weight. The architect for the CN tower was John Andrews and the architecture style he chose for this building was modern and futuristic. The CN stands for Canadian National Tower. It was once the tallest building on Earth but the Burj Khalifa surpassed it. Its an amazing building to go see and a lot of fun when you get to the top floor.
