The Mabee Center in Tulsa is an important building to not only me, but to most of the high school kids in Tulsa. It is the building in which almost all high schools go to hold their graduation ceremonies. The Mabee Center is a beautiful building with strange jagged staircases and a round, stadium like shape. I always thought it was a nice looking building and associated it with the end of high school and the start of adult life. I was in band through all of high school and every year at the end of spring semester we would spend an evening in the Mabee Center playing Pomp and Circumstance for two hours straight and bid farewell to another group of graduating seniors
