This is the Washington Monument in Washington D.C. The architect is Robert Mills. I remember senior year of high school, we had a basketball tournament in Washington D.C. To get funding from the school for the trip we had to also find a way to make it educational. So we decided we would go see all the sites with a history teacher. Out of all the sites and statues we saw, this was the most breathtaking.
