I love snowboarding. I also love
the cold weather. The idea of building a house out of ice and snow that I could
live in is so freaking cool! With Christmas break coming up soon, and trips to
Colorado just around the corner, this building had to be written about. The
Jingyue Snow Palace is a part of the Jingyue Snow World festival. It takes
place in Northeastern China and this image is the winner of last years events.
It was a life sized church, castle turrets, and estate-sized home, and a band
of horses all created by packing ice together and shaving it to the desired
shape and size.
