Third Mainland Bridge is the second longest bridge in
Africa. It was the longest in Africa for six years. It is located in Lagos, Nigeria. The bridge links the Lagos Island to
the mainland. It was built in 1990 by Julius Berger PLC. It is about 12km which
is approximately 7.4 miles. The bridge goes on forever. I once went across the
bridge sitting behind a motorcycle and I was so scared because of the water
below.
