This as I am sure you can recognize, is the Alamo. In the eighth grade I remember we got to go on our first, out of city and overnight class trip to San Antonio. It was the coolest thing to me at the time and I remember my favorite part of the trip was getting to go see the Alamo. Looking back and thinking about places I would want to defend, this would not be one of them. The courage it took to defend some of these walls against a more heavily armed and larger force is incredible.
