This tomb was built by a King to honor his beloved
wife. Many think that the Taj Mahal is
simply the building, but it is a vast garden enclosure with a mosque and other
outbuildings. When I visited I had the
chance to spend the entire day there. I
was able to walk through the gardens, pause by the fountains and to go inside
the buildings. We had a guide who would
relate the story of this King and all that he went through to show his love for
his late wife.
