A great motto to go by is to save the best for last, and in the case of this blogging assignment- I have done so. This statue represents what makes the greatest place in the world (USA) so great- FREEDOM. This is the first thing that Immigrants would see as they would arrive from abroad. The statue is a robed female figure representing the Roman Goddess, Libertas. This is my favorite place in the world and it is a must see in your lifetime!
