Seth Thomas - ARCH 3013 - Blog #7

The Dancing House, located in Prague, Czech Republic, was designed by architects Vlado Milunic and Frank Gehry in 1992 and later completed in 1996. This house was designed to look like two people dancing. In fact, the original name was Fred and Ginger (after the famous dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers), but this nickname is rarely used.

A very unique building no doubt. Its interesting how this house was designed to resemble a pair of dancers. I find myself not only appreciating the architecture, but also the story behind the design as well. Very cool building!
