Zac Hardina #7

The building pictured above is a small house designed by the architect Steven Shortridge. The house is tiny compared to most at 750 sq-ft, but through the emphasis of natural lighting with large windows is made to seem larger than its exterior appearance suggest. The open floor pan efficiently uses the limited space provided. The numerous plant and trees block the view of the street from the living room, giving the occupants a feeling of isolation. The yard is designed to accommodate guest and allows for parties to be host. Thought small, the materials used throughout the house are high quality. The flooring is real wood, the counter-tops are granite, and aluminum and steel is used throughout the exterior of the house for artistic purposes.
