The United States Air Force Cadet Academy is in Colorado Springs on the Air Force academy campus. The campus lies in the foothills of the Rocky mountains and serves as the training grounds for pilots and officers entering the Air Force. It was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and the construction was finished in 1962. I have visited the campus several times and walked through the chapel and the color inside from the stained glass windows is amazing. It is a beautiful place to visit and experience some of the tradition of the US Air Force.
