Angelina Harrison #11
This is the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris,
France. I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful building while traveling
through Europe. Construction first began
in 1163. The architecture is a French
Gothic style and this building was one of the first to use the flying
buttresses for exterior support. Inside there is a huge organ that has 7,373
pipes. Throughout history there was damage done to the building structure, but
it was recused by Napoleon in 1804. I loved visiting this stunning building and
it is definitely a must-see when visiting Paris.
