Seth Thomas - ARCH 3013 - Blog #8

The Stone House, located in the Fafe Mountains, Portugal, was built in 1974 as a private getaway for a family. Built between two giant boulders with a rock and concrete mix. Not much is known about this house.

I really like this house due to the unique stone design that incorporates the original stones as walls. It looks like the house is just an extension of the boulders. Its also thinks its pretty cool that not much is known about this house. It is said that the inspiration for this house comes from the Flintstones. Id like to think its true.
