St. Louis Cathedral - Grant Inman
The St. Louis Cathedral represents the heart of old New Orleans. I have visited the building several times while on trips to New Orleans. Nestled just a stroll away from the famous Cafe du Monde and the banks of the Mississippi river, the Cathedral offers serenity in a city often defined by just the opposite. The exterior design of the building is simple in comparison to the interior art work decorating the building. Like much of New Orleans, the building holds a rich and intricate history of people and art that makes this cathedral such a special place to visit.
