Zac Hardina #4

The house above is a modernist contemporary house built by Fitzsimmons Architects. The house was built as a case study for new housing styles in Oklahoma. The house makes extensive usage of glass, concrete, and steel as the primary building materials. While not an exceptionally large building, the open floor plan and the numerous windows help to make the interior feel roomy. Aesthetically the house is simply, and I am fond of the minimalistic styling. Even thought this style of house is unlikely to become popular in Oklahoma, I would like to see more design ques taken from this style of interior. The open interior lends itself to a greater utilization of space. Instead of creating walls to separate individual rooms, this house allows for a constant flow from one room to the next.
