#12 - Auby Chase Brown - London Shard

The Shard of London is a building I spent less than five minutes in! I was only here for a split second with a friend before we had to leave! We were between flights on our way to France (the boring rural parts) and wanted to see this building, wondering if the game Mirror's Edge was modeled after it (there's a level named The Shard). Seeing designs, we were immediately awestruck and when we realized that there was a building with the same name, we absolutely had to check it out. Unfortunately, it was only very loosely based and the real version of The Shard was not as big a spectacle. It was still very cool though, and I love the presence it has among the other buildings surrounding it. It's name is very appropriate!
