The building above is the Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris. I had the opportunity to visit this magnificent building this past Summer. It was truly moving being inside of the Cathedral and thinking about the hands that built it and the hands that have been clasped together in prayer throughout nearly eight centuries of its existence. Its size and details are awe inspiring. Seeing all of the buildings I was able to see while on my travels in Europe makes me wish that we still built buildings like this.
