Shane Parker #1

This is Victory Christian in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Founded in the 80s, the building had two functions, being used as both a church and a school. On the far right, you can see part of the original building. Classes and church services were both held here. Later on in the 2000s, the larger building on the left was built and the church services and church-related activities would then be held here. This building is important to me because going to school here from 2nd grade to senior year, I have countless memories here. I also got to witness the construction of the new church building on the left, from beginning to end. In this building you can see the shift from an older style to a more modern style featuring a large glass structure and more adventurous architecture. You can also feel the style and time-period changing as you walk from one end of the building to the other. The grand glass structure is my favorite part of this building as it houses some interesting rooms with great acoustics and a great view.
