I have always thought that the main library looked kinda cool, like a castle. Everything from its exterior to the great hall is warm, inviting, and screams,"I am a college library, I am full of knowledge and I look good!". Then there is the new part of the library which resembles a maximum security prison minus the chain link fence. I look at it every day and wonder how someone was able to take the beautiful and intricate main library with all of its style and grandeur and attach that thing to it. Not to say that the new addition doesn't have it's own unique style and beauty, but I personally don't think it belongs attached to the main library.
