The Lincoln Memorial is quite influential not only in terms of architecture, but also on the foundation of this country. The columns are representative of ancient Greek architecture and represents wisdom and knowledge. It is an important building because it is a symbol of freedom in America, and the ideals behind this country. The intricate designs make the building more grandiose and powerful. When I walked into the building, it made me feel proud to be a part of this great country.
