Sara Davenport- Week 8

As a Texan, I obviously remember the Alamo. This is one of the first things I think of when I think about Texan things. I visited the Alamo once in elementary school and another time in high school. It is now a museum and walking around it you can tell it was not meant to defend anyone from a military attack. I remember the Alamo as a place where a few brave Texans fought against an army that greatly outnumbered theirs and succeeded for a while but ultimately failed. It is an important landmark in Texan history.
