Shane Parker #3

This is Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. This is a very old hospital that has evolved a tremendous amount since its creation. It was established October 18, 1911 and actually is older than the state of Arizona by about four months. I visited my friend who works here over the summer, and the building gave me the most positive experience of any hospital that I have been to. This hospital lets in a great deal of light, creating an atmosphere that I find more upbeat than traditional hospitals. It also has an interesting design that somehow fits the feel of Phoenix.
