James Curtin - Washington, D.C. LDS Temple - Post 7

Washington, D.C. LDS (Mormon) Temple

I have never actually been to the Washington, D.C. LDS Temple, but it has had a huge impact on my childhood. I have driven past it on I-495, the Washington beltway, innumerable times. When I was a child we would drive past it whenever we would visit my Grandparents or aunts and uncles. On one trip I asked my father what the build was and he told me it was Disney World as a joke, but then must have forgotten doing so. For years after I thought it was Disney World and couldn't understand why my parents kept saying Disney World was to far away to go to whenever I asked them to take us there.
