The Stephenson Life Science Center. It is the new chemistry research building at The University of Oklahoma. I love the curving roof top and the open court yard in the center of the building. I am impressed with the layout for the faculty. They have it designed where the professor's offices are right outside their labs. In their labs are smaller offices for grad/undergrads students to do research. They have their own cafe in the building. They have their own glass blowing workshop for all the lab equipment needed for their experiments. I believe this build cost about $90 million. I am shocked on how much natural light they use for this building. I think it is really pretty, especially since they are building more buildings down there. I wanted to talk about this building because I will start doing research here this semester.
Thanks,
